Description
An Osean F-4G Wild Weasel V of the 281st TFS, based at Morris Lake AFB, circa 1995. The "Battering Rams" were the last operators of the F-4G, and gave the aircraft its swansong during Belka, despite the more advanced F-16CJ. F-4Gs were amongst the oldest aircraft being used by Osea during the war, especially since the F-4G was a converted F-4E. Their age meant that they were employed carefully.

I worked on these planes in Germany for a couple years in the nineties. Even went to war with them. It's a great airplane. Some of the planes in our squadron, 23 Tactical Fighter Squadron, even flew during the Korean War. D
