VB-02 Vertibird

Anyways I tried to look for some art of the Vertibird a handful of days back and found nine results....NINE RESULTS (most of which were just screencaps)



So I decided to change that a little. for those of who are looking at this thing and asking "what in the hell is this ugly machine?", here's a bit of history for you. The VB-02 Vertibird is a tilt-rotor assault transport from the Fallout universe. before the world was swallowed up by nuclear war it served with the US military, and in the universe's more recent times the Enclave (supposedly the remnants of the pre-war U.S. government) and in Fallout New Vegas President Kimball of the New California Republic has one as his transport (Bear Force One). Vertibirds usually act as troop transports, landing quickly before unloading troops, but they also carry a Gatling laser (though it bears the appearance of a regular M61) and missiles to attack ground targets.

The paint scheme is a combination of canon and fanon. Enclave Vertibirds are usually a dark olive green with certain mechanical surfaces have a light shade of the color. In New Vegas we see the addition of a BuNo., squadron designation and tail markings. this Enclave Vertibird (the roundel is of my own addition) belongs to the Checkertails of VEM-245 (I have no idea what that's supposed to mean exactly but it's probably something in the ballpark of "Vertibird Transport Squadron, Medium"). the tail code is for Adams AFB from the add-on Broken Steel.
